Spalding and KSA sign agreement

Spalding’s President, Tori Murden McClure, and Kentucky School of Art Dean, Churchill Davenport, sign an affiliation agreement between the two schools. The new Kentucky School of Art at Spalding University will open this fall.

“Spalding is excited to welcome the Kentucky School of Art as an affiliate of the university, and we welcome their students to our campus this fall. We anticipate the contributions their faculty, students and programs will make to the university and Louisville’s art community,” says Tori Murden McClure.

“Louisville is the cultural center of this region and deserves a school solely dedicated to the visual arts,” says Churchill Davenport. “Art students from Louisville and the surrounding area should have the option to go to a dedicated art school in their home town or state.”
